Ill try and simplify where you are going wrong, say we agree to your structure and the TC state is reduced to 10% with a population of 50.000 TCs, all the GCs would need to do given the opportnity which they would grab immediately with their rights of freedom of movement and settlement is move into the TC state and claim residency 15.000 would seal the 1 seat leaving us whistling in the wind and at the mercy of a revenge seeking GC people.

Without guaranteed representation there will be no deal so you are doomed to failure. How many other TCs have accepted your plan?

See, I knew you were looking at things from a a point of view that makes you think the way you do. You are not thinking outside the box and be creative and be Democratic. This is the concern Bir raised also, regarding the votes being diluted by the number of candidates for the senate seats in the upper house. I have this problem covered in my 5 year plan and you will get it soon, as soon as I have time to write it down for you, which will show you, that even if there were 25%-75% GC's in the north state living amongst the TC's, they will not be able to take any seats in the upper house, providing that the TC's will not vote for them, which is something that you cannot guarantee for me, but as long as politics are based on ethnic lines, you are safe for the next 20 years or so, but once elections are based on political ideology, the upper house as well as the lower house will be divided along political ideology which you will not have any control on how many GC's, TC's, Armenians, Maronites, or any other Cypriot citizens who would be eligible to run for office. I'll will have my 5 year plan for you by tomorrow on the other thread.

You may think it unimportant but I prefer to look at it from this viewpoint to avoid manipulation and exploitation that could leave the TCs out in the cold once again, your approach leaves me to believe you are intentionally push TCs into a death trap that will leave them exposed and vunerable to GC domination in their own country.

The ultimate goal maybe to encourage political ideology voting but that is a long way off and will only develop with trust and understand which have none of today. the safeguards are vital to mould both sides into understanding they cannot change the rules as and when they wish they have to work with what they have and not try to undermine or dominate the other. If both sides in the future show the maturity and wish to vote for a GC then whos to object if its the will of the TCs.

Ill read your additions to your plan but please try and look at it from the TC perspective for a change without hidden traps.
