Fact 3: You're asked these days what you want your ID to say if you have dual nationality. Cypriot or Cypriot/British. (was asked and replied Cypriot/British)
Fact 4: Dual nationality is accepted by both the UK and Cyprus.

Fact 5: Raymanoffs last post got me in the mood for a ziafetti tonight.

DT , it goes without saying that one born in Cyprus of Cypriot parents
or one born overseas with either parent having Cypriot connections although entitled to Cypriot ID and passport cant just walk into a government issuing office and demand either. Proper channels have to be followed.
When my daughter who was born in the UK of a Cypriot father and an English mother and applied for a Cypriot ID she had to submit a copy of my original birth certificate and a copy of her mothers passport amongst other require documents ie her own birth certificate.
I do not have a Cypriot passport and have intended to apply for one for some time now just haven't got around it yet.
ps.what on earth is ZIAFETTI , if it ain't something rude that is !!!

And you call yourself a true Cypriot?

I see , no wonder I hadn't come across it before it before .

Byron has informed me privately that he did indeed vote for unity , his vote was the 19th.
I emphatically offer him my sincere apologies in insinuating or rather in stating unequivocally that I believed him to have voted for partition.
I hope he is a big boy and accepts this very candid apology.

Miltiades : I accept your apology. For the record my vote was not the 19th but the 20th.

With 31 votes cast, I think we should now conduct an investigation.

I believe those cowardly traitors to/foreign haters of Cyprus, who in 2009 support double-enosis-dismemberment, but are all afraid to admit it, ought to be exposed.

Make no mistake, their presence on the CF is to bring about the destruction of the island. Their contributions should NOT be trusted.

Cypriot patriots/friends, alexISS, DT, Piratis, Milti, Deniz, YFred, T_C, Byron, CBBB, The Cypriot have proudly declared support for real Cypriot unity. Kiks doesn't vote but is on our side; not sure whether GR! voted but his patriotism is unquestionable.

Please do correct me if I've forgotten anyone.

insan openly voted for partition but NOT for union with Turkey/Greece which doesn't quite count as dismemberment. VP questioned the options on offer and was reluctant to vote, although he is a self-confessed supporter of agreed partition (though not necessarily of double-enosis-dismemberment).

Regular contributors to the CF Cyprus problem section not mentioned above (and we all know who you are) have yet to declare themselves and are under suspicion of being enemies to Cyprus.

You can clear your name very easily by proudly declaring your support for real unity like the rest of us.

Otherwise, I hope all other CF members will treat you with the utter contempt you deserve from now on.

Dear Cypriot,

I think you are taking this poll too far. The whole purpose of the Cyprus forum is to bring people together to discuss various issues on Cyprus, including the Cyprus problem, in a democratic and civil manner.

The views of the TC's are well known but if you are now going to call them traitors then the forum should be restricted to just Cypriots or Greek Cypriots who share only your views. That to me is not democracy and in no way helps to solve the Cyprus problem. What is needed is constructive discussion .
