To the Cypriot
If you are referring to the question
How about you? Are you a Cypriot on Cyprus?
The answer is YES, but GREEK CYPRIOT
My British passport does not preclude me from citizenship rights and responsibilities I may have by birth, young man. So you're wrong there I'm afraid.
Depends what your definition of a Greek Cypriot is. If it's the son of two parents who emigrated from Greece but was born and raised in Cyprus, then, no. As that's what I am, but replace 'Greek/Greece' with 'London'

Ever since then I have held a British passport and have sworn to chuck it away when a statue of Bin Laden is erected in Trafalgar square !!!! My Cypriot ID was issued by the British in 1958 when I attained the age of 12 and as required by the British rulers once you reached the age of 12 you had to have an ID.
Lost it over the years and a few years back I had it reissued at Lemesos after some vociferous arguments with the issuing authorities who insisted that my name was Giannakis and not as shown on my passport and all other legal documents as Yiannis. They informed me that the spelling was based on Latin !!!! I raised my voice , in fact I shouted at them and demanded to see their superior to whom I addressed my by now uncontrollable anger telling him that Yiannis is the way my name is spelled and written and not in bloody Latin. He relented and Im now the proud owner of my Cypriot ID showing my full name as Yiannis Miltiades Savvides , known by all as John !!!!
Strange how our surnames , most us anyway , were created. When you went to school for the first time you are asked the name of your grandfather and when you replied Antonis or Demetris they put you down as Antoniades or Demetriou in my case my grandfathers name was Savva so I became Savvides. Crazy system it was in those days , my real family name was Choukkas , often thought of reverting back to it but some how never did. The strange thing is that my father had his own grandfathers name and was signed as Christodoulou , years later when he came to the UK he changed it to Savvides.
There you are folks my full family story. Now did I tell you when I , quite a few years ago , I was in the music......

I think we all enjoyed reading your life story but I do not think you can hold both a BRITISH PASSPORT & A CYPRIOT PASSPORT unless you have DUAL NATIONALITY. The ID card is not a passport. So what is your current nationality.

Total rubbish thats how you wish to see things, your expertise in sarcasm does not allow you to realize the damage you do to relations between the 2 communties your comments force the wedge deeper thus increasing the levels of mistrust and doubt. Your lack of understanding and degrading comments will only guarantee one thing..partition. You must feel real proud to be a contributor to this state of affairs but what makes you look even more stupid than you really are is that you do not realize the damage you are doing because your nose is so deeply inbedded in GC arse.
Yes, VP, just blame others for your own fuck ups. You don't need my help to cause any damage between the two communities, because your whole aim here on the forum is to cause problems between the two communities. How else are you expected to keep 29% of the north, so cut the crap. You have issues with me, because I contradict your accusations and claims most of the time which stops you in your tracks from creating hate between the two communities. This is what you don't like, because I do not let you get traction with your hate messages. Trust me, if I was causing a division between the two communities, you would be sending me praises as you do to your fellow Partitionist here on the forum and not condemnations. I don't see you sending condemnations to your fellow NeoPartitionist, so why is that.?
Stops me in my tracks???, you are yet again exagerating and over estimating your worth, the people you continue to allienate is none other than those that you claim (which I still have my doubts) to have derived from (ashamedly for us) the TCs. But of course you are to thick skinned to realize the damage you are doing and the above post proves my point.
The only point proved, is that you cannot peddle your Fascistic crap past me as you think you can to other unsuspecting TC's, because you want them to believe that you have their best interest at heart. Little do they know, it is the best interest of the Fascists NeoPartitionist that you have at heart. I have at least proposed no less than twice a settlement plan where it took the best interest of the True TC's at heart, unlike you where partition is your only aim. Just because we come from the same community, does not mean I have to support your Fascistic views. The fact that you voted for the AP, a Racist, Undemocratic and violations of Human Rights tells me a lot about yourself.!
You are the one who has sold your soul to the GCs and will do everything to lead us down the wrong path, a prime example being the Kikapu plan which was concealed capitulation to GC will and domination, TCs are not stupid and they can smell your kind a mile off. You can argue your point like everyone else but if the majority of TCs reject your one sided viewpoint dont try to lay the blame on us as your ideology is not gospel as you seem to have convinced yourself...there are very few TCs on this forum that agree with you on any matter this must tell you something but I forgot you are so blindly anti TCs that TCs have on many occassions had problems identifying you as a TC but hey I have always believed you are GC and if one day we should unfortunately meet I will spit in your face for selling the TCs out. Not once have you argued anything remotely pro TC and anti GC why is that? is there nothing the GC demand which is not right? Are you a paid GC agent? because you act like one.
Listen clown, my loyalty is to Cyprus as a Cypriot and to all Cypriots who want the best for Cyprus and not to anyone who wishes to tear her apart, as you do. Just the mere fact that you do not want to lift a finger to help the TC's to find True Democracy under True Federation as my plan required, which you yourself approved it at first before realising that 50% of the north needs to be returned back to it's rightful owners, only tells me that you have zero interest in ever having a True Democracy for Cyprus, just because it would shut the partition door on your face with loss of land on top. Majority TC's never rejected my plan, only you once you realised the cost to the Fascist NeoPartitionist and Insan who has another plan in mind, much like the 1960's. Now look who has the arrogance to be so presumptuous that you VP is the majority of the TC’s. Come to think of it, only one GC liked it, DT, so, so much for your pointless ranting of being a "concealed capitulation of the TC's to the GC plan". Don't you think all of the GC's would have jumped on the band wagon along with DT to support such a plan if they felt it was good for them and bad for the TC's. No, they did not, because it gave the TC's everything they asked for, except this time Democratically.
Here is the plan for those who may want to read it.

That is your choice to spit in my face if we should one day meet, VP, just because I want the TC's to live under True Democracy in an "honest society", as long as you understand, that it will also be my choice to decide whether you will be using straws from then on to feed yourself with.!
