Just think if all Cypriots felt as I do and of course as indeed thousands of other Cypriots feel. There would be no Cyprob to solve , no majority / minority issues and political parties open to all .
I hate the fact that some Cypriots can only feel comfortable with them selves at being either G/Cs or T/Cs .
LONG LIVE THE ETHNOS OF CYPRUS !!
Milt, you can feel anyway you like, there's nothing wrong with that and I personally like the way you feel. Unfortunately how we feel and the realities surrounding us are 2 different things sometimes.
DT , can you answer this. My daughter was born in the UK , her mother , my wife is English and I of course born in Stroumbi The Great in Paphos.
What is my daughters "ethnicity" ?
I say she is half English , half G/C but above all she feels that she is a Cypriot , nothing mainland Greek about her , would you agree ?
My grandchildren have nothing mainland Greek about them .Their father born in Cyprus , a G/C and as mentioned above their mother half and half , the children both born in Cyprus are 100% Cypriots !!
Here is what a 100% Cypriot looks like at a year old !!!
By enlarging the image you can see the "turnups" and the massive bulge !! Just like grandad .!!
Milti. I always enjoy reading your posts. They are full of pride and passion. You are a proud Cypriot and a proud grandfather and I have the utmost respect for you.
But this argument about ethnicity is a red herring. Let people be what they want to be; and what they're comfortable with. It doesn't matter.
What matters is their allegiance to the motherland. And as you can see, most Cypriots – and indeed most of our friends – are with you! They believe in Cyprus, not 82%, but 100%.
