Apparently he fired his hand gun whilst in the pre-fab Toilet facilty while he was sitting down. The bullet passed through his body, pierced the Toilet wall(plastic) and passed between two of his colleagues. The investigation is still ongoing.

Not an unusual practice among the Turkish security forces (read Ergenegon.) In 1996, after the murders of Isaak, Solomou and Kakoulis, they went as far as murdering on the cease fire line, a Turkish Army sentry of Kurdish origin, in order to charge it on the GCs taking revenge of the above murders. They wanted to get rid of the poor Kurdish soldier, for their own reasons, and what a better idea than getting him murdered while on duty on the green line. Even the UN admitted in their report that his death came under obscure and suspicious circumstances, to be blamed on the GCs.
