Love to talk to you about this, but Australia has now closed ALL detention centres except for one, because illegal immigration into Australia practically does not exist any more.

How is Cyprus fixing its immigration problem? Are you doing anything about it?

A lot of people, some from western countries, visit forums like these lurking and to learn more about the CYPRUS issue, not to be lectured about their own country.

And who is going to teach them about Cyprus you?

The Turks have their own forums, blogs etc to spread their version of the Cyprus issue. But what do we have here in this forum? Here we have people like GR who think they speak for all of GCs and what do they do? They ridicule western countries. With this approach, how are you helping our cause? It depends who I'm talking to DT.

I certainly feel very Australian, as it is the country I grew up in and know better than any other.

But both Australia and Cyprus are on par, but sometimes I could consider myself more Australian because that is the country I identify with most of all.

Plus I have a vested interest in the topic being discussed and honestly know the difference between an effective immigration system such as what Australia has compared to an ineffective immigration system such as what Cyprus has.

So Cyprus should have a good look around if it wants to solve her social problems once and for all. The technology is available that is for sure.
