Well genetically speaking, we are all the same.

But in order for the above to stand you need to define what constitutes a race.

And what constitutes a race in this day and age is language, custom, culture and religion amongst other things.

Have another go Chip. We will get there eventually. :D

Re Bafidis, I think you need O to sort this guy out. :roll:

I think The Cypriot is by far , (after me that is , !!!! ) the most committed , intelligent , highly qualified Cypriot that ever graced this forum , he is no match for anyone and I'm particularly extremely overjoyed to have such a powerful and effective debater joining the true Cypriots.
O , as eloquent as she undoubtedly is , being utterly misguided and in my opinion utterly destructive to the Cyprus corner would be a mere pushover against The Cypriot !!

My guess is that The Cypriot is of the fairer variety , a female ! Do forgive me if I'm wrong , you too can have an apology like Byron did .
ps. We dont need Paphitis sex , I spoke to him on the phone and he is definitely a man !

No I'm male, for my sins. Why did you think I was female?

And while that puffed-up Paphiti may be an arsenigo (with the emphasis on the first syllable), he's certainly not man enough to withdraw his accusation of racism.

Thanks milti, in which case I'm flattered. Unfortunately, there's far too much testosterone on this forum; which is fine if all you're after is a 'mass debate' (so to speak) together. If the intention, however, is to make some progress re: Cyprus, then we need to adopt a different strategy. After decades of stalemate that surely must be clear to everyone.

Hiya Paphitis,

It would deeply depend on what...
1...Your interpretation of a nation is
and
2...If you see Australia as a nation...

Tell me which angle you wish tackle...

Why don't you prove me wrong by engaging me in debate rather than be abusing over 31 pages and ducking and weaving to avoid my incisive questions.

Sorry Chip, but until you address the questions posed to you, then I will presume that your thesis preaches the very principle of ASSIMILATION and by this definition you are unfortunately a racist. :(

Australia is a nation. It is one of the finest nations on the planet Boom and you know this because you and I are both lucky enough to be blessed with living in her fine clean cities and be surrounded with all all the opportunity we could desire.

But I would like someone to explain to me the Australian ethnicity as opposed to the Aussie psyche.

A nation is a nation, but nationality is entirely different to ethnicity.

Here is Australia Ethnic make up:
* Australian (37.13%)
* English (31.65%)
* Irish (9.08%)
* Scottish (7.56%)
* Italian (4.29%)
* German (4.09%)
* Chinese (3.37%)
* Greek (1.84%)
* Dutch (1.56%)
* Indian (1.18%)
* Lebanese (0.92%)
* Vietnamese (0.87%)
* Polish (0.82%)
* New Zealander (0.81%)
* Filipino (0.81%)
* Maltese (0.77%)
* Croatian (0.59%)
* Australian Aboriginal (0.58%)
* Welsh (0.57%)
* French (0.5%)
* Serbian (0.48%)
* Maori (0.47%)
* Spanish (0.42%)
* Macedonian (0.42%)
* South African (0.4%)
* Sinhalese (0.37%)
* Hungarian (0.3%)
* Russian (0.3%)
* Turkish (0.3%)
* American (0.28%)

Can you tell me the difference between Ethnicity and Nationality Boom?
