You can find Guba in Brazil under same name. Now Meltiadis may say that we are coming from Brzilians!!

The correct name is KOUPA and not GOUBA otherwise know as AGGOUROSPORO TOU PINGOU !!

LONG LIVE THE CYPRIOT ETHNOS !!

Firstly my dear of no nation (you are the only person in the World having no Ethnicity) i copied the name of the first post for this subject just to sent my post.

Secondly my dear of no moving mind (you are the only person in Britain whos mind stop in 1960) the Cypriots in UK are very closed connected with the Greek community there -exempt of course of some Kallous like you

Hey Plonker , my nation is Cyprus how dare you question the validity of a nation recognised the world over , are you a mainland Turk who refuses to recognise Cyprus.
PS What on earth is "Kallous" some kalamaristiki colloquialism no doubt a bit like the way way Athenians welcome each other by " ai gamisou re pousti !!

Miltiadi, i assume your skin is "stakti" like the gypsies around Famagusta villages before 1974. You can not be a Cypriot , at least of these concist the majority in Cyprus. You are just an old gypsy living with pension funds of UK. If you could lieve , even 24hrs, like the most Greeks in mainland Greece, then you would ask the God to take you, since you would live the best 24hrs in your misery life

BTW, I've got a day off work today which is why I've got the time to explore this important legal document.

I may have to consult my solicitor on this. Hallumin is an important aspect of Cypriot culture, entirely germane to the debate.

Would you accept the revised term "revert to cheesy arguments"?

Paphitis wrote: 2. don't insult my intelligence,

I try not to attack the man but the idea. But I think I can probably accept this if it's reciprocal.

Paphitis wrote: 3. don't slag off on Greece,

I have never slagged off Greece so request this clause is deleted as it's irrelevant.

Paphitis wrote:
4. don't try and tell me that I'm doing the wrong thing by being a Greek Cypriot,

I can accept this if it's reciprocal, ie. you mustn't tell me I am wrong for not needing the protection of a prefix.

Paphitis wrote:
5. don't support Homonia,

For my sins, I'm a Spurs fan so no problem.

Paphitis wrote:
6. don't try and revise or suppress Hellenic History in Cyprus or in Greece,

I can accept this if it's reciprocal. ie, if you don't revise and suppress all the rich and varied historic elements of Cyprus that make it unique. (I'm not really concerned about Greece's Hellenic history, so this isn't an issue).

Paphitis wrote:
7. answer my questions without the smart arse comments,

Come on Paphiti. We've got to have a bit of fun sometimes, to keep people entertained. How about this, if you don't insult the man, I won't wind you up.

Paphitis wrote:
8. and for gods sake, don't shove a KEO beer in front of me.

Not sure what you're problem with KEO is but I won't hold it against you. Agreed on this.

And that was the point of this thread. Now will you join us for a Keo?

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN "THE CYPRIOT" and PAPHITIS.

If you want to find common ground with me, all you need to do is the following:

1. Don't try to open intellectual threads and then revert to Halloumi Cheese,
2. don't insult my intelligence,
3. don't slag off on Greece,
4. don't try and tell me that I'm doing the wrong thing by being a Greek Cypriot,
5. don't support Homonia,
6. don't try and revise or suppress Hellenic History in Cyprus or in Greece,
7. answer my questions without the smart arse comments,
8. and for gods sake, don't shove a KEO beer in front of me.

Now sign the below Memorandum of Understanding:

I, "The Cypriot", do solemnly swear that I will abide by the above guidelines and understand that any contravention of the above rules of engagement with Paphiti, will be dealt with harshly and punishment will be administered until a public apology is made begging Paphiti for his forgiveness and understanding for my indiscretion.

How patronising can one get.

Deniz, he said he wanted to find common ground with me, and I thought I would be nice and outline my very simple guidelines....

I hope "The Cypriot" accepts my generous offer so that we can have a beer together.

He may think that I'm difficult to get along with so I thought I would outline my very simple and reasonable requirements in an effort to make life easier for him....

The evidence is all over the internet Deniz!

Have you heard him play the Bouzouki?

Sorry Deniz, but I would like to keep my lunch in my stomach....

Because I'm Cypriot, I don't shear sheep but cut their throat, then skin them, gut it and get the Souvla Barbecue off the diblokambino, and start cooking whilst listening to Kazantzidi (A Greek Singer)....

FINAL CALL for "The Cypriot"

You may join me for some lamb if you sign the Memorandum of Understanding.

I will accept Miltiades signature as Ombudsman only if he too signs a similar Memorandum of Understanding. No other clause is negotiable, although I will grant your kind request to consider yourself a "Cypriot" only..... :D
