What a load of rubbish GR. The Mycenaeans visited and traded with the eastern Mediterranean in general, and were easily capable of bringing people to Cyprus. It would have been a gradual process, not one huge migration! By the same token, how did the Minoans (who were even earlier) bring the Minoan script to Cyprus? Crete isn't that much closer. Oh I forgot, you reckon they didn't, by again ignoring the evidence! The chains of oppression are the mental ones , the perpetuating brain washing that WE ARE NOT CYPRIOTS but Hellenes . The continuation by the Church to deny our people their true natural inclination to be Cypriots.Why on earth does a church have to fly a Greek flag and violate by so doing my rights as a Cypriot to be a Cypriot.
The brain washing or rather the indiscriminate mental rape that is continuing is what I call " oppression" .
The T/Cs are far more exposed to it than the G/Cs but one can understand their guarded misapprehension at letting lose of their own chains.

GR, am not against you, but smaller ships would be able to follow the Anatolian coast. Still a long shot. Most of the settlers/traders came from Asia Minor anyway. They brought their Obsidian to Khiroikitia.

Logistically, it was IMPOSSIBLE to get thousands of people across by such boats anywhere in those days and that’s why there are no historic records of such sea migrations back then except in Greek mythology!

I’ve never read of ANY migration by sea in their thousands during the first or second millennium BC… have you? All migrations took place on land back then and I can understand why!
