How much have we changed from last century?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

How much have we changed from last century’s catastrophic mindsets?

Judging from some of your comments, GR, I didn't think you'd WANT to go to Greece!

I thought I'd mention a place they'd find friendly to make my point...

We should indeed be grateful to Greece for this great service to Cyprus. And also to the then foreign minister of the evil Imperialists, Robin Hood (RIP) who also successfully argued the case, no doubt to our friends on the other side of the pond.

Britain, along with others, only supported the Cypriot accession because they thought we would accept the unfair AP. That is why they felt so cheated when we didn't, largely thanks to Papa amongst others. A triumph for Cypriot and Greek diplomacy perhaps

I consider "half-hearted Greek" to be a derogatory term, so use this label against me, then I will continue calling you a neo-Cypriot. Do your worst with your libel action! What suggests the extremism is not the "neo" but the "Nazi" or the "Fascist".  "Neo" just means recent or new. Where did you say you got your legal advice? I suppose when political commentators called Bush and his friends Neocons they all got sued

Relax Simon, I didn't take legal advice because of what you wrote... I don't suppose either of us can libel each other in an anonymous forum.

And I apologise for calling you a half-hearted Greek.

 Apologize? He's a fucking galamaras pretending to be Cypriot!

Don’t let the clowns fool you my friend because no Cypriot patriot would ever go round with a Greek flag!

I was deliberately prodding a raw nerve and it was unnecessary. Simon describes himself as Greek Cypriot.

I am not pretending to be anything you pseudo-Choirokoitian senile ignoramus. I am completely open about who I am, as are most Cypriots like me of Greek descent. I'll go around with whatever flag I please and I'm not going to let you (especially you) or anybody else tell me otherwise!

Are you denying that you're a galamaras?

Simon, TPap made himself look like a liar when he pushed for the rejection of the AP. I wouldn't call that a triumph.

Nah!

http://www.un.int/cyprus/mendel.htm

But anyway, fuck the EU accession!

When do you plan to return the Cypriot territory you lost?

That’s what I want to know…

So Greece threatened other nations for the fun of it? Read between the lines! Serious questions were being asked. I didn't lose any Cypriot territory, we did as Cypriots, along with the junta. So the question is, what are we going to do about it. You know my opinion already on other threads, one of which I actually started.

Bush looked like a liar and was a liar every day of his two terms in office, yet some people in your neck of the woods would swear he's the second coming!
