idendification date is 1970 ................

i have to find my birth certificate too .... i was born in 1957 ... it was British time but i got new one in 1970 .... it says similar things too.

This is the "British Government of Cyprus" .... it's all written in English.

But I agree with them, you are a Turk!

Nothing wrong of course to be a Turk. But T/c or Linovambakos -yes is a problem.
first is just a shelter came in Cyprus as such during Ottoman occupation and gained ..rights..and second was just a very poor Greek who changed religion/Ethicity just to take a hope in public sector during same period-in short- GENITSAROS

ENOSIS IS DEAD?

Can an Historical idea be dead? Historical incidents of 30-40-1000years are just incidents. Ideas are like cats. Very difficult to die.

If someone told me today something about Enosis i will consider him as phychologicaly ill. In 100/200 hundred years who knows, maybe Greece or even Turkey bake for Union with the Hellenic Cyprus

looks like Cypriot idendity or Cypriotism introduce to us after 1974 . Before that in every documents they were putting on your race . Turk ,Greek or etc....ect .....

i don't know when they started to put on the idendity cards just saying Cypriot .
hoping someone can tell us . what happened and policies are changed ?

On new ones it does not says race it says nationality (Cypriot).

After 1974 our side started to give us a travel documents with this document i traveled to UK . Have a look what it says on it

Nationality :Kıbrıs Cumhuriyeti (Its meaning ROC)
Origin:TÜRK

stamp on it says :Kıbrıs Türk Federe Devleti (Turkish Federated state of Cyprus) date was 1975.

Halil, everything is evolving according to circumstances, it seems... On TRNC IDs, neither nationality nor origin r mentioned.
