How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

And it seems that AKEL, and DISY also endorse the ANNAN Plan and they are about to endorse something much worse...

What do you expect Greece, the UN and EU to do when all our politicians are a bunch of incompetent wankers?

The UN has issued countless resolutions which they do not enforce so they might as well stick their resolutions up their arse. What a toothless tiger!

Well that explains why Greece sat back and watched Turkish commandos land on the Imia rocks and hoist the Turkish flag! Imia must’ve had similar dumb politicians not worth saving!

Qucik Paphitis!!! Post some Greek horoscopes or something…

Your silly wind up is getting rather pathetic.

Unlike Cyprus, Greece was about to go to war with Turkey over the incident.

You should count your lucky stars that everyday HAF pilots are giving TAF F-16s and F-4s a real hard time in the Aegean and that Greece at the very least is able to defend herself, whereas I shudder to think what might happen if the Turkish Army breaks through the lines in Cyprus....

What has the EU done for Cyprus? :?

Gee I don't know...Did Turkey withdraw with their tail between their legs.

The Greeks killed every single commando that landed on Imia...the chopper was shot down, even though both Greece and Turkey deny it.

The Turkish Puma was shot down after it had extracted the Turkish Commandos.

The Greek Navy Huey crash happened hours before.

I've posted this before... here it is again

from Bill Clinton's autobiography regarding the Imia incident:

"I spoke to President Suleyman Demirel and Prime Minister Tansu Ciller of Turkey. They told me that Turkey and Greece were on the brink of military confrontation and implored me to intervene to stop it."

Greece has responsibility in the cyprus problem, but i also think a few things that cypriots are at faultL:

Against the recommodeations of the papandreou govt Makarios introduces the 13 points(start of the crap)

1971 discussions between clerides and dektash result in pretty much the adoption of the 13 points with the trade off of sepeate municipalities and a level of autonomy. The Junta(pre-ionnides)emplore makarios as did clerides to exept the settlment, makarios refuses.
