Let us remember the real Hellenes and Cypriots 55-59... RIP!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Let us remember the real Hellenes and Cypriots 55-59... RIP!

I have just finished reading some pointless threads and can't help but think that GR! has played you all around his little finger. You have countered him with effective arguments and with credible evidence against him but at the same time doused the flames with oil in what is obviously a silly wind up and thus allowing him to sit back and laugh at you all whilst propagating anti Hellenic propaganda as what he deems as pay back for the 74 coup.

I have been on this forum for a while now, and I must tell you that there is nothing I disrespect more than the way Modern Day Cypriots and Greeks behave in this day and age. You all seem to think that by posting a few articles on the internet you are doing something good for your country but in reality we are doing nothing at all. This forum is a microcosm of the Cypriot village mentality.

You all seem to harp on about how much of a Cypriot or Hellene you all are, but in reality you should all put on your Vraka and just go and sit at your village Kafeneio, play Tavli and sip a sweet Greek coffee.

There are only a few people that deserve the honor of being called Cypriot and on this day we all should remember them as today there is no one that could come anywhere near filling the void they left behind in their quest to allow all of you the semi-freedom to behave like children on the internet.

When the Hellenes were uprising against Ottoman Rule in 1821 with the aid of Russia, Britain and France, Cypriots were sitting at the Kafenieo drinking coffee.

This is dedicated to the real Cypriots....These Cypriots are now extinct...:(

Paphitis, for me, replying to that thread was not about doing it for my country, but more about highlighting lies and propaganda. GR really thought he was going to get somewhere with that thread, but it fell back in his face. At least with our credible arguments we may have erased any doubt for potential doubters. :)

I am sure it is as you say Simon. :)

It is about time we all get back to what is important and pay our respects to those that really deserve it and ignore those so called "Cypriots" which are trying to erase Hellenism from Cyprus in a much more effective way than the Turkish Invaders ever could.

Our identity is the only thing which has so far not been violated for thousands of years. It is the only thing we have today that is whole....

Read up on the ships and droves of volunteers of Cypriots that fought in Greece. Captains of ships, soldiers on foot...thousands are written down in history as

Costis o Kypraios
Stelios o Kypraios etc etc..

unfortunately there is no way to trace them all but the Cypriots fought hard in all of Greece's struggles.

There were a handful of Cypriots that offered a lot to the Greek Independence struggle, which may have included fighting for Greek independence. These guys were obviously leaders in their time and stalwarts of the Filiki Eteria. But what happenned to the rest of the Cypriots in Cyprus? And why didn't these guy's stay in Cyprus to lead the Cypriot Revolution when everyone else was too scared. Cyprus lacked a Dighenis, especially when Kiprianos was hanged and 3 other priests were beheaded.

It wasn't 3 bishops that were beheaded but 486 people that were leaders in the GC community that were hung. Amongst them were 3 bishops.

But why is this enough to prevent the revolution when thousands were not enough to prevent the Greek War of Independence?
