TAKING MY CAR TO CYPRUS

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Hi C-M

The services Italy-Limassol seem to come and go; when I said RORO, I did not mean to imply you could travel with your vehicle, as you cannot.

My avatar is about as close as I can get; I'll rustle up a real pic when I can. But you are quiet safe, I have not eaten a man - for a least a week :-)

Hi Caroline

Are you expecting to drive on the Left in Cyprus? It is entirely optional here, along with obeying traffic lights (they are for tourists), parking restrictions (they are for everyone else), driving within the speed limits (tourists again), obeying No Entry signs (these do not apply to the Mukhtar's friends), drink/driving (then why did God invent Zivania?).

Driving Test here: if you can start the engine at the third (or any attempt) you pass - of course this might change when we join the EU - oh, we are already a member? 8-)

vehicles to Cyprus

Postby voyou » Thu Jun 09, 2005 4:45 pm

Sorry everyone.. just to clarify. Can we get a ferry with vehicle to Cyprus? What is the best way? I am currently in Sevilla, Spain but want to take my transit to Cyprus. There seems to be a suspension of ferries. Anyone know why?

It may of course not be worth it and just get a vehicle when I get there. What are car prices like on the island?

I'm new to the forum.. hi to all.

Oh God it sounds terrible, why did you come to Cyprus then, why didn't you stay in your country which is so perfect, hey? I wonder!
