The advice I can give you is that you should first find a job and then move here. It is not easy to find a good job in Cyprus unless you want to work in a farm or something like that.

First we play football (1st of April) and then we decide if you’re to have a job here… 8)

If you were a single man, I might say come and take a chance. However, if you have a young child to support, I would not recommend that you come unless you have a job. There is no guarantee that you will find anything. What are your qualifications and experience, by the way?

I am sorry to say it is not easy to get work in Cyprus. Even the good jobs are poorly paid. You are looking at working in the tourist sector with your experience, wages are low, hours long and there is alot of competition for jobs.
I can recommend a hotel that will at least give you an interview but your starting salary will be poor and you will have to work split shifts ie: 9-2 and then 6-10pm. If you PM me I can give you the address which is in Limassol.
Good luck.
