Bulgaria Vs CYPRUS

Postby DT. » Mon Mar 30, 2009 8:41 pm

Next match is on Wednesday in Sofia. We win this and we're contending for 2nd place and qualification.

Lots of problems still with Okkas, Makrides, Charalampides, Nicolaou and Efrem injured. Jason is still trying to get a bloody passport.

Only good news is central defender Constantinou of Anrthosis who rejoins the team after his yellow card ban. This means that at least the central defenders get regular football with their teams as opposed to our 2 full backs.

I hope we will play better than with Georgia! Does anybody know how good is Bulgaria at this time? And is the game really at 6pm? A bit too early for such a game I think but at least we can also watch the Greece - Israel game at 9:30 :)

Bulgaria has had 4 draws in a row, two of which were goal-less! I guess that would suggest a team that refuses to be beaten but can’t be arsed to win! Go figure… :?

Breaking news on Bulgarian sports sites. They tried to buy the game with 40,000 EUros!!! from us.

My guess is UEFA is going to kick them out of the competition. :D

idiots...don't they know our going rate is a minimum of 260,000 Euros?

Its a govt statistic. There's an algorithm you can use that determines the average bribe levels for a Cypriot.

I pulled it out of my arse umit.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a chart for bribing a Cypriot. I can imagine what the bribe would be if they where playing Moldova  .
