“Hellenism” - the greatest mythology of them all!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Responding is one thing and COUNTERING is quite another!

The Macedonian forum makes mince-meat out of your “Hellenism” yet all you lot could do was to attempt to drown out my posts with dozens of links of your own!

If that’s what you mean by “response” I can always paste a few thousand verses from the Quoran and drown you right off this forum! Image

What you talking about, I was talking about responding to me not anyone else. Unlike your rubbish, I posted neutral sources. So go back and respond to my first 2 posts from Charlton S Coons book, The Races of Europe and the Nicholas Hammond interview.

I’ll show your posts the same respect you lot showed mine so here’s my response to them: FUCK YOUR POSTS!

It goes to show how stupid and immature you Greeks are. Had you been patient and courteous enough we might have had a civilized debate but you turned it into a pasting competition to drown me out!

As we say… “Ebnigikate senna botiri nero!”

Well you need drowing out and anyone like you. As to a pasting competition, thats what you were doing not me. I responded to your points, your a waste of space, all your here for is to try and serve your own ego.

Your Greek mythological fanaticism is the very crux of your stupidity and inability to debate anything really…

Chao chao bambino!

He himself has them from an "individual coming from Macedonia" who "gave him details on the emigration movement going on in the districts of Upper Macedonia, which the Greek troops are clearing all the time." This agrees with the information received by the Commission from the refugees themselves, at Salonica and Sofia, as to the specific character of this exodus, which was prepared and encouraged by the Greek authorities who offered carts and even motors to those who agreed to emigrate. (See below.)] Exact statistics are not available, and we are aware that reliance can not be placed on figures given by popular meetings, or by official agencies. Nevertheless, it may be believed that we are not dealing here with isolated cases, but with a real exodus; a portion of the picture to be seen throughout the Balkans.

All this talks about are Albanian, Bulgarian and Turkish populations....where are the ethnic macedonians?

I strongly encourage everyone to read through all 5 pages of posts of that thread. My goodness…

GR, why cant these forumers see your sense of humour? Put them out of their misery and tell them its a wind-up.

How can it possibly be a wind up Deniz? Dozens of authors from all over the world have conducted their independent research and end up agreeing that modern Greeks are full of shit about so many things…

All these experts who have nothing to gain are wrong yet the Greeks who have so much to lose are right?

I was not disagreeing with you DT. I am assuming GR is winding you lot up. I hate to see him further humiliated. After all, he is my fellow Chiroikhitian.

The fraternity of Chirokoitians is eccentric enough to be able to confuse itself sometimes in its quest for a different approach to maintaining an identity on this island.

On the one hand there is a need to halt repetitive mistakes of the past with associating itself with the mother countries and on the other by dissasociating itself it is providing ammunition to the little ticky-birds that plague this forum.

On the GC side this is a much easier task since it is done in conjunction with Greece's "i don't wanna know" attitude (ran by Karamanlis) regarding Cyprus. Not so for the TC side were apart from an educated Istanbulian elite who'd be happy to loosen ties with Cyprus in favour of an EU path, the grasp on the TC's is very much strong.

So a GC Chirokoitian casting Greece away is seen as less of a traitor and more of an eccentric than a TC doing the same.

GR! can post what he likes for his own amusement and if he digs deep his issue is with an image of Hellenism as personified with certain people he knows rather than his background. The betrayal in 1974 of the Cypriots by the Junta will never be forgotten either by the likes of GR despite it being a betrayal by the governing dictators and not the people.

There are some that are content with the co-existence of the 2 in their psyche (such as myself) but that has more to do with your background rather than what you know now.

Anyway,

I wouldn't mind any of this so much but for the poor, badly researched, kindergarten level posts the Fredsans (insan/yfred) post as the resident ticky-birds.

This is where we are all in agreement with GR! The coup betrayed Cyprus.

What he fails to appreciate though is that the Junta behaved exactly like GR is (jokingly) doing right now. Because they also betrayed Hellenism at the same time!

Whilst our aim is to restore a full and United Cyprus, it doesn't have to be at the expense of other parts of us as people ... who are connected to this Earth and its history. Without a past our future is bleak. We will be like those nomads snatching land here, snatching land there and continuing the barbaric colonisations of primitive long abandoned habits.

The Turks love what the junta did. They love what GR! is doing now. They see it as a second coup to further betray Hellenism and ultimately Cypriotism. And it gives them license to jump in - like insan did in his catatonic posting state. In a parallel of 1974, they did not allow us time to sort it out amongst ourselves, but jumped in to capitalise!

How dare you underestimate my education level, I have an Ilkokul diploma with pekiyi I'll have you know.
One of the topics included was how not to get shot by the beloved eoka. I passed that with flying colours. And you call yourself a Cypriot.
