“Hellenism” - the greatest mythology of them all!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Simon » Mon Mar 30, 2009 3:11 pm

GR,

You are extracting conclusions without consensus and without addressing any of the counter-arguments and the wealth of evidence against you, and not even addressing the source of your information which ALEXISS (amongst others) kindly pointed out!

That's not civilised debate GR, but called living in your own world.

It is like when a child says something and then shouts LALALALALALA! So that he/she cannot hear what is said back.

Get Real! wrote:Ok, let’s extract the more obvious and important conclusions from all that’s been posted so far:

1. The origins of the modern Greeks:

Mongols --> Slavs –> Pseudo modern Greeks

2. The Macedonians:

A superior neighbor of the ancient Greeks, that had overrun and ultimately led to the ancient Greek’s extinction.

What did I tell you? With civilized debate one can come to an understanding and form factual conclusions.

More later…

Regards, GR.

The one thing we established is the answer to the question everyone's been asking about you lately

I think Get Real !!! is either a little boy who is just trying to bait everyone here for kicks or is not actually Greek at all either of the Greece or Cyprus variety. He might possibly be a paid agent of Turkey ( trying to split up the Greek Cypriots ) or maybe a propagandist for FYROM.

Not being funny but didn't the government recently say that the history books had to be changed (not just because of Cyprus' history, but also) because of exaggerations regarding Greek history? Yup...

To call it exaggerated is doing it great service. You mean its all made up Cuckoo land history with all the nasty bits editted out and all the good bits made up or stolen from others particularly the ottomans.

That is kind of off topic TC. In any event, it is not only Cyprus' history books that talk about the enormous legacy of the ancient Greek civilisation, there are history books around the world that do the same.
