The main contractor building the new holiday village Sunset Bay just as you come down the hill to Banana Bay Coral Bay has returned to Athens leaving most of the workforce out of pocket for thousands of euros in wages, most of them Romanian workers who rely on money to send home to their families. The owners of the complex have been left to finance the finish of the project, the have given a percentage of the wages to the workers to keep them, but a lot have still lost a great deal of money. The owners this week made cut backs by laying off workers, actually the only two British workers who work there ,even though they are desperate to finish for the first batch of tourists in the next month or so ( NICE ONE ).

Thanks guys will bounce back again thats the second time in just over a year losing over a grand each time and I bounced back then thanks to the support of my partner,hey nice to hear from you again Z4 Ive been off line since moving now have got broadband on so will be on the forum again.

Sorry to hear that MACKAM1955... the reason i was asking is that my flat is rented to one Greek Contractor who accommodates his staff there, last time when i was getting rent cheque from him he kept complaining how bad things are... but thats not the guy you mentioned above,.
