SWITCH LIGHTS OFF AT 8.30PM TONIGHT AND SUPPORT EARTH HOUR

Postby halil » Sat Mar 28, 2009 8:21 pm

Only ten munites left !

The Chamber of Environmental Engineers in the TRNC have called on all citizens to support earth hour by switching off their lights.

Tens of millions of people around the world will switch off their light bulbs tonight as part of a global campaign to throw the spotlight on climate change, in support of the Australian-led 'Earth Hour' initiative.

Between 8.30 and 9.30pm tonight at local hours for every country, you can join millions of people around the globe and switch off your lights for Earth Hour.

WWF Australia has launched a new television commercial to raise awareness about the global Earth Hour event being held on March 29, 2009. The ad, which will air in 60 and 90 second spots on TV and in cinemas, shows people coming together to cover their apartment block in sheets.
