They only have data from a very small section still, and they seem a bit spurious because no one thought to distinguish (and in such a small group ), the differing representative ethnicities.
It will be a long time before we get meaningful data, if ever, from such a small group as the Cypriots.
The bigger the group, the more accurate the representation ....
But if the genes still exist in groups which have records of mixing with the Greeks, longer ago than even the Cypriots, the extrapolation is that the Greek genes are still prevalent in Cypriots (significant in even Sicilians so more so in Cypriots).
