I think the Olympics will be over by 21st December 2012.

Its a Friday, I thought I might visit the Troodos just to get some air, nothing to do with the end of the Mayan calendar, you understand.

Might get a little tricky down on the coast. End of the world, Nibiru etc.

I suspect Oracle will still be blaming the Turks as the tidal wave sweeps in from the west from Crete.

Oh well, all problems solved.

It's so comforting to go to sleep knowing all around me, I am embraced by people who have inherited genes from the Greeks ... 8) 8)

Not only is the Greek genetic legacy clearly detectible today, but it is detectible among not only the Greeks, but all their neighboring populations of partial Greek ancestry:
