the punk movement is still very much alive and kicking in the UK

There is a punk festival held annually here in Blackpool with 10s of thousands converging on the resort

Although many of the pioneers are now gone there are lots of young bands around keeping the sound alive ( Dead Pets Society etc)

I was lucky enough to see Joe Strummer perform just before he sadly passed on

One of the areas I work is a very posh part of the country and I take great delight when driving through in the early hours with my windows open and 'Never mind the Bollocks ' Blaring out on full volume

RichardB, Punk&New Wave and Punk Rock are not as they used to were. I mean from mid 70s till mid 2000s, there were too many great Punk bands I enjoyed listening their music.

I'm happy to hear that Blink 182 back in business after a 4 years of intermit. If u know any melodramatic, romantic and intellectual Punk Bands in new generation of Punk scene please let me know. I've just found the top 100 most voted Punk Band. I know many of them. Now I'm gonna check utube for the rest.
