Hi can someone tell me what is better to have to watch films on TV?

A media player recorder with a hard drive or a DVD recorder with an internal hard drive (with USB)

Whatever is best, can you point me in the direction of a reliable make and prices?

Bought a Sony DVD recorder from Electroline on Spyrou Kyprianou about a year ago. Got my satellite reciever hooked up to it. Record average programs on the hard drive and things I want to keep on DVDs. Was a damned good investment as they kindly made it region free for me (though it could be as I know one of the sales people there).

This thing with the regions is ridiculous anyway. If your own the original DVD then what it matters where it came from?
