North sends Blair dud cheque to cover Orams' legal Fees?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby bill cobbett » Mon Mar 23, 2009 8:55 pm

I was about to join those who say above that one newspaper source isn't enough but I see that this affair was also reported in the northern press so it's getting better but it would still be nice to see some more confirmations.

As to who is footing the O's legal bill I understand that it is being met, or of course in the light of this thread not being met, by a group of northern land scammers ( aka phecking "developopers bast'rds").

Thats a bit like the WMDs in Iraq when all the Secret Services convinced each other.

As Victor meldrew would say "I don't believe it"

You have also rubbished news from the Cyprus Sunday/Mail in the past.

Absolutely. I don't know if this story has any validity but Denizaksulu (sp?) makes a valid point. The Cyprus mail has tabloid garbage written all over it.

What have I told you repeatedly? Your comments are about as useless as a tit on a bull.

YFronts, fighting for the "TRNC" 24-7 in this forum. His one line zingers make all the difference in the world or at the very least, swayed the 10 or so GC Cyprus-forum contributors to see the light.

Way to go YFront!

When you talk about tit on a bull, if you mean the bird veraity, they serve a very good purpose.
You can bury your head in the sand as long as you like, Mr Jesus man.

Nobody believed before, why believe anything now? I wonder.

Even you would laugh CBBB.

Bill Cobbett,
The problem is, this is one of those stories that is reported (falsely) in one newspaper and then is picked up and reprinted (falsely again) by other papers. Suddenly you've got ten newspapers all saying the same (false) thing. It is called, in journalism, "churning". See the book called Flat Earth News by Nick Davies who shows how this works mainly using examples from the UK media.
