when i see what u are planning and what u are thinking in here ... i started to feel we must start to build up China great walls in Cyprus from now on to protect our children and waist our times ,how to make stronger than strong everyday our military power .... for staying in this island .... not to waist our times by talking or trying to find solution in this island ... that's what our neighbours are asking and wanting .....

It is lucky that this is a joke thread in which Get Real, Simon et. al are just taking the piss out of themselves or else many contributors on this thread could be charged with conspiracy.

You think that I'm joking ? All of those of you posting from the UK or other EU countries might like to know that there are dozens of British citizens currently serving jail sentences under 'anti-terror' legislation for expressing far milder suggestions about the possible use of violence.

This is not true in our case. If it was true, then we would be able to put in jail every Turk who supports the so called "trnc" and the illegal Turkish occupation, which is forced by means of brute force and terror, against the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.

We are in war with Turkey (just in a cease fire right now) and no EU country would take the side of Turkey in this war.

If you want you can call as terrorists the separatists Kurds and TCs, but in our case we are talking about the ongoing war between Cyprus and Turkey.

According to CopperLine's "logic" all those who do Military Service are in a "conspiracy" against the Turks .... ... or does he think they are just training to "negotiate"?

even the jokes puts these warmongers into motivation Sir .... by giving them credit makes them to think they are in right track !!!!! which we will not give them any permission they will have no dare third time again .....

we all suffered in this bloody island ..... just listening they are moaning will not help at all .....

I said and our side said many times ..... today and yesterday we said ....

Cyprus problem did not started from proverty , land or homes problem .... it did started by not excepting Turkish Cypriots as a equal partner in old ROC .

Killing , murdering and other things were stoped in 1960 ..... so what happened in 3 years ..... we are very carefull this time .... we never wanting to have old times again in our lives ..... we are patient , we have lost so many lives ....so GC's lost as well .... our aim is not to have it again .... If they things they can solve this problem with guns they are going to make big mistake again .... it was tried in 1963-1967 and it did tried at morning of 15 july 1974 ..... what happened ??? present time .... now we are living in it and talking everyday behind the keyboards or in our living time .


we have reasones by asking bi_zonal ,bi_communal federal solution in Cyprus .... it got to be solve out by talks ..... if it takes time it will take ....

but those people are thinking that they can get over by military solution they are making big mistake again .... it is not joke at all .

To be fair a future millitary option might be one thing that will liberate the turkish cypriots . If we make substantial gains and take a lot of the GC countryside and utterly destroy with our artillery Nicosia and larnaca we can then negotiate to give back that land as well as hostages for a 37% TRNC state including gazi magusa. This is obviously a fantasy scenario as the GCs despite the fanatasies of some here will never actually carry out any armed operations unless turkey as a state is completely destroyed. All this talk about guerilla warfare is also ridiculous, the GC's can wage a guerilla war if turkey attempts a offensive into the ROC but any direct offensive to take back the north will obviously have to be done with conventional warfare.

Halil my comments came from a post by a TC (Yfred) who accused me of wanting to be part of a group who advocated war against the TCs

I asked him to substantiate these accusations - which he still has not ( and will never be able to) done

I have always argued that the Cyprus problem should be solved around the negotiating table and if ANYONE can prove otherwise then I will leave this forum with my apologies to all concerned.

As you know I have Cypriot (GC) family connections and I stated that in the event of an outbreak of hostilities then i would support the GC cause.

I am sure that you in the event (god forbid) of hostilities breking out would support the TC side
