Why would spiders be wary of "conker" smells"?

Spiders are harmless creatures, leave them alone!

I beg to differ, not ALL spiders are harmless and if Emma is thinking of using conkers/chestnuts in her home in the hope of deterring spiders then she isn't harming them, merely requesting that they vacate her premises and relocate somewhere else, perhaps they could move in with you?

what if they refuse (considering they are stubborn cypriot ones )?

The short answer is YES but only the males! You see, male spiders have very tiny balls… in fact they’re so small they’re non existent!

Now, when male spiders see a conker lying around the house, to them it’s like a male human saying… “In your face!” so they quickly run off sobbing.

Problem is, when female spiders see a conker they actually get very excited and go bring all their female friends to see it...

So there you go...
