How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

What are people expecting ... open and shut cases all the time?

And we don't shoot dead without trial .......... or even after!

Trying, what Trying? Try as you might, there was definitely no Trial there.

Have you seen the video of the beating YFred? Here is a photo of the student who was beaten by 10 heroic policemen.

Amnesty International gets interested.

Yes I did, it turned my stomach. It's happening all over the world. In some ways what happend to the JCD in UK was understandable. The British establishment is terrified of the Muslim fanatics, what possible excuse did the RoC police have to do such a thing?

Apologies ... but I know a number of arrests in the UK (almost the norm on a Saturday night) are way worse than that!

At least they were not tasered .. or dread ... shot in the head, with questions to be asked later!

The more people resist arrest .. obviously the worse the job will be for the officers!

I think it is a matter of having to FIND something to complain about ... busy-bodies!

Can't remember the story because it's been a while but what did these two do to get arrested in the first place?

I have a question. What if these two boys were TCs? What would have happend then? Would it not have stopped the peace process? Some Forumers are making very light of this situation.

No comparison because these two martyrs were completely innocent ...

... but put into perspective, I can't understand what all the fuss is about!

TEN POLICE officers accused of assaulting and humiliating two students in December 2005 walked free yesterday after a Nicosia court cleared them of all charges.

Uhuh. If TPAP (may he rest in peace) was still in charge, can you imagine the outrage by some local and foreign press and wouldnt they try and associate TPAP somehow to this case? I dont care if they were acquitted on a technicality. Justice here was not served.

Im outraged.

You don’t understand how the system works. In most democracies there are darker forces in control than the office of the president or the prime minister, they are allowed to be in office to make us believe that we have a say in how things run. Challenge their power and you will not know what hit you. Do Freemasons, P2 or Eoka mean anything to you?
