Try a meze at Lania tavern, or honey balls at Trimiklini.

Yuk! :( I tried honey balls when we first came over to Cyprus and what a disappointment they turned out to be. They looked divine, smelled delicious and then .................................yeugh!

eracles, once you arrive pop into the Tourist Information Centre (there are two along the Limassol seafront). Businesses/places of interest are always changing and the TIC people are always very helpful and will be able to assist you with the best places for your family to go whilst you are here. Enjoy! :) (Not sure if the TIC is open at weekends- sorry!)

If your planing to visit Lania I would rcommend Platanos, 50 yards past the Lania tavern. Andrulla is very welcoming and the food is good and reasonably priced.
Bear in mind that many eateries in the mountains are closed on Monday (including those in Lania)
Have a good time
