Garoyian faces an uphill battle against hardliners

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

That does not answer the question. Which way will he go?

Will he stick or will he twist. And I don't play cards.

In the CY context, what I'd like to see is a more hard-line opposition but I know less about Cy politics than I know about poker (which is bugger all).

Will that take us to a solution?

Not the one you have in mind that's for sure. Christofias does not represent the majority GC viewpoint. Turkey and her supporters don’t belong in Cyprus and it’s as simple as that.

I'm pleased and encouraged to hear of Pres X being at variance with CY majority opinion GR.

The only way he can pass this rotating presidency garbage on us is if he bypasses a referendum. Thats when he and Andros Kyprianou catch the next plane out of here.

Starting YOUR position from a rotating presidency and forcing the other side to go one worse with a presidential council is treasonous negotiating.

Rotating presidency is just one of my problems with what he's ok'd so far.

What "hardliner" means?

Does insisting on things like democracy, human rights, and equality of all citizens without racist discriminations and segregation make somebody a "hardliner"? Was Martin Luther King a hardliner as well?

And on the other hand, if you start from a position supporting things like ethnic cleansing, violation of sovereignty of an independent country, Settlers, refusing to obey UN resolutions, and a ton of other crimes and illegalities, and then you come and say you are willing to support slightly less crimes and illegalities, does that make you a "moderate" and "compromising"?

I'd rather be a "hardliner" along with Luther King, rather than a "moderate" along with fascist criminals who support crimes and illegalities against innocent people.

Doesn't he have a holiday named after him after fighting for equality for the blacks?

The question is very simple, will he flip or will he stick?

Garoyian will do what every brainless politician in Cyprus does. He'll act in a manner that will keep him in power.
