OK, no worries.

Halil first posted that website in this thread below, and Piratis pointed out some other inconsistencies:

If you are concerned about our welfare, perhaps you should not be endorsing a "cross over" within one country.

Surely in this day and age, to advocate crossing over in order to mix with a segregated group of people, as though it would do one good, is indicative of your brainwashed mentality that itself needs a restorative.

The only solution is removal of the troops and other Turks and no more "cross over" mentality, within one country!

I'm afriad with current realities on the ground their is no other alternative then to 'cross over'. The Turkish troops will go when an eventual settlement is found. From my last recolection the GC's voted against the last plan which was negotiated quite extensively by Papadopoulos and we all know how that plan ended. Hope the new team have better luck next time round.

Hi Kuruovali I just like to comment on your post. Firstly the annan plan was not a negotiated settlement but a plan forced onto the Greek Cypriots. Where the two parties couldnt agree Annan filled the blanks. The solution favoured Turkey and Turkish Cypriots. We actually didnt benefit from the plan. Turkey invades us then expects us to compensate our selves.

We the Gc's now have a leader who knows how to play the game where Paps was to hardline. This time we have real chance of settlement because it's in Turkeys interest to come to the table with the right attitude. If they want to be in the EU then they need to toe the line otherwise no EU for them and no EU for the TC's or should I say the Turkish Settlers.

Why? Are they expert negotiators?

It was a bad plan, and we were wise to resist Turkish threats ...

Hope the new team have better luck next time round.

A fair plan should do the trick. Preferably, one which instigates immediate and complete withdrawal of all Turks and their troops.

Irrelevant (like yourself).

It's what the majority of the Cypriots decide which counts.

When it comes to these countries, you'll even quote the blessings. Heaven forbid these countries including the USA, Britain, France, Russia, China etc on behalf of the UN come up with resolution after resolution calling for Turkish millitary withdrawal and claiming the "trnc" as illegal.

Why listen to resolutions when you can count blessings

All of the above have already tried to destroy Cyprus when they allowed Turkey to invade in 1974. So why should us the GC's give a monkeys if they gave their blessing or not. The plan was not fair Turkey gained everything and we lost most of our land. We are not stupid, remember we hold the cards now not Turkey or the TC's. We will agree to a plan that suits us not the rest of the world.

YES, you imagined it. Just because certain individuals from those institutions supported it for their own selfish and corrupted reasons, did not mean it was supported by those countries or institutions main body. But if you say they have supported it, then I suppose you will have no problem when they support it again, but this time under True Federation, True Democracy, Human Rights and International Laws, which all these principles lacked in the Annan Plan. Only Morally Corrupted individuals would have supported the AP, and we all know who they are, including all those here on the forum.!
