Greece denied nothing to Cyprus. It is the British and Turkish imperialists who denied to the Cypriot people their right to choose what they want for their own island.
And again the same pro hellenic bullshit from you.
Greece denied nothing??Yes nothing apart freedom.
If it wasnt for Greece's thirst for expansion now maybe ur country would be free. The Junda provoked a just reaction from Turkey.
geopolitics at the time allowed junta to think and try to annex Cyprus. It failed miserably and today u see the Kerinia me ta kialia kai apo makria....poly makria k etsi tha sinehistei...

As always you are trying to blame Greece for the expansionism and Imperialism of Turks and British against our island.
Cypriots, like all other Greeks, wanted to be in a free Greek Republic, even before the Greek Republic was created.During the Greek War of Independence in 1821, the Ottoman authorities feared that Greek Cypriots would rebel again. Archbishop Kyprianos, a powerful leader who worked to improve the education of Greek Cypriot children, was accused of plotting against the government. Kyprianos, his bishops, and hundreds of priests and important laymen were arrested and summarily hanged or decapitated on July 9, 1821.
Our freedom was denied to us by foreign imperialists who used force to impose on Cyprus their will and deny to the Cypriot people their self-determination.
The Junta was just a tiny part in Greece history. The leaders of Junta are in Jail, and their actions definitely do not represent the Greek people. And still you want us to blame all other Greeks for the actions of some criminals several decades ago? I should remind you that Turkey is still ruled by military fascists, and that in Turkey not one, but several coups happened.
Would Greece, Russia or any other country, be excused to invade Turkey every time a coup happened there? Turkey had absolutely no right to do what they did in 1974 and during the last 35 years, and this is why her actions were imminently condemned by UN resolutions.
Turkey was planing partition long before 74, long before the Junta gained power in Athens, and in fact before any inter-communal conflict had started. So stop trying to excuse the illegal and criminal actions of Turkey, because nobody can do this, which is why their occupation and the pseudo state they declared on our land are, and will remain, illegal.
