Do you get Çörek in Oz. Have some black olives and hellim too.

Afiyet olsun/Bon apetit.

I haven't seen Corek sold here. I have a 2 kg lenger of hellim, made in Australia stuff, it is branded Paphos, it is very salty though. I saw some hellim from Cyprus at a supermarket yesterday. Olives and Corek with proper tasting tomatoes, yum. All I need would be a olive tree to have a nap under.

I seem to be re-starting every day. Staying up late seems to bring out the munchies ....

Really, food eaten after midnight shouldn't count!

Exercise is the key Oracle. I eat less after exercising at the gym. Don't loose focus, think about the jeans

You can always rinse the salt off. If not enough, leave the hellim to soak in warm water till you are satisfied. Make sure your olive tree is in a bostan. Fresh water-melon is a must.

I soaked it in water once but it deformed a bit. I am missing the Cypriot way of life. People here a far too fast paced, everyone is in a hurry.

What Oracle referred to as a Bagel with sesame seeds. The Cyprus bread in a ring with sesame. Koulloroukia?(Goullouri?)
