I'm in need of a little feasting.

When is the Orthodox Easter this year?

I'm so looking forward to loads of flaounes and the extra special souvla that marks Easter Sunday. Yes, a special BBQ, pork, lamb, chicken for the ladies, some pastourmias, sheftalies, perhaps some fish and sea-food, very fond of mackerel and cuttlefish on the old coals, ooh and BBQ'd halloumi always goes down a treat, very popular with the children as are eggs wrapped in foil in the embers.

Desert? A boxfull of shamishi, some kataifi and saharoboureko (sp?)

Definitely need to put on some weight this year. :D

Are you sure you are a true GC?

Flaounes ... my GOD! [theai mou!] ... they are my undoing :( .... (can't zip up anything fo a month after Greek Easter!)

Is everyone ready for the 'off' tomorrow?

All 'goodies' safely stored away or eaten? I am enjoying my last glass of 'Mother's Day' wine :) :(

(Freshly baked Flaounes are lovely. Cannot eat them cold - or reheated! :? )

I'm stuffed with Chinese at the mo .... so I'll probably wake up starving by 2 am ....

One banana and a yoghurt on stand-by for breakfast. Half an hour in the gym ... then on my bum with work all day I'm afraid .....

I could not set my Wii this morning so my exercises were ad hoc - think I worked harder because of this!

I was going to go for a long walk now breakfast is over, but looking out of the window at all the (lovely) rain, it is housework for me. Poor dog!

Come on guys, we can do it. :D

Will you stop it. Its one flavour that you cannot re-create in the UK.(unless home baked by my GC neighbor Flora.) She is also responsible for my weight gain.

I have been brought up with good manners. When Flora asks me do I lie to her and say they are lovely, when I have not touched them? or say 'I hate them'.
