Personaly even if the above happened I think there would be a desire amongst some TC (myself included) to try and work towards renuifcation of the Island.

erolz I dont agree with you, if TCs were asked to make a straight choice between unification or recognized partition im certain the majority would opt for recognized partition as TCs do not trust GCs and the last year has only pushed us further apart.

You may be right there - it would depend on what kind of renuification deal there was.

That was not really my point however. My basic point is that as long as there is divison on the Island there will always be some desire amongst some to end the division. Or to put it another way it is not only 'negatives' that make renuifaction attracitve. Unity has an attractiveness in and of itself (as far as I am concerned). That does not mean I would do anything to achieve unity. It just means that even without anything 'external' (land back, economic growth etc etc) I would still seek unity if possible.

Isnt it same for GC magic? I mean if you get land, and Turks accept your political predominance, will be a cyprus problem for GC?

recognition of TRNC can occur without the roc doing anything.

both of the above cannot occur wihtout the puppet masters wishes so the analogy is faulty.
