If football has nothing to do with it why is it then the tcs want to play international teams/matches?

You spend half your posts telling us they are your cousins, but still an embargoe is an embargoe...

Why don't turkish teams come over and play...a friendly to say the least. while tcs are moaning they have been shafted by the international community yet again...but have no problem being shafted by their cousins...

Someone in the beginning of the thread mentioned that Greece forbids the use of the "Macedonian language".

If you do a simple search you will see that the language spoken in "Macedonia" used to be called Western Bulgarian Dialect not so long ago.

There fewer differences between the so called "Macedonian Language" and Bulgarian than there are between mainland Greek and the Greek Cypriot dialect.

There are plenty of Bulgarians in Greece and they have no problems speaking their language. There is also a daily radio broadcast in Bulgarian which presumably is understood by those that like to define themselves as "Macedonian".

Bulgaria is doing the clever thing with the self proclaimed "Macedonians". IT recognises the country but not the ethnicity and gives them all passports with no formalities. It is estimated that one third of "Macedonians" now hold Bulgarian pasports to travel to the EU. In a few years Bulgaria will simply swallow up little Skopje.
