OK ... you've reached a decision. You have judged them as brainwashed.

That is very precise!

I wonder who brainwashed them to shoot indiscriminately and for no apparent reason, and why?

Have you ever seen me attack EOKA, by denying them the right to fight for freedom? I might have mentioned their tactics of shooting women in the back though.

Absurd Deniz. That was hardly a "tactic" .. and knowing the history a little better now, I wouldn't put it past the TMT ... kill and blame someone else. Nasty and cowardly!

... and the TMT didn't have any "redeeming" features such as fighting for freedom of their ancestral home ... they were just fighting to prevent the natives having their rights.

Nasty and cowardly indeed. Tell that to the victims family. You are first to blame the TMT for this. Congratulations.

Playing the "Crying Game" now, huh!

Don't start getting hysterical, when you were the one throwing around "probabilities", but then refusing to entertain "possibilities" ...

"Tactics" ... how absurd!

They are certainly not normal, spraying the pizza guys and their customers, even if they were soldiers.

Think about that next time you order a take-away if not in Cyprus then next time you are in the UK.

I won't bother with a British view of EOKA's fight for freedom ... even most Brits would sympathise with the possibility of some distortion of the truth

However, you decided to associate this killing with EOKA.

Are you suggesting that Britain is acting the same in Ireland, as it did in pre-colonial days in Cyprus? That is a strong accusation to levy on the Brits.

They had the good grace (albeit half-heartily and partially) to give Cyprus back to the Cypriots. Are you suggesting they should give Ireland back to the Irish, otherwise these "EOKA-style" (your analogy) freedom fighters might continue their fight for freedom?
