British soldier in Ireland ... being shot by one of the IRA splinter groups. Maybe the Irish want their country back, said I.

What more do you know? How do you rationalise such a thing? Are we to believe we live in a world where random shootings are common place? Is that preferable, acceptable?

So how would you rationalise such inhumane behaviour?

Surely you don't believe humans would naturally go around killing indiscriminately?
