What is it they say about burning books? Something like ...burn the books one day and burn the authors on the next.

Adnan Oktar has been one of the most debated islamists of Turkey since mid 80s. He has his own islamic group called Adnancilar. Among his followers there r so many super models, actresses and actors. Wearing head scarf is not required for his followers. There r plenty of allegations abt him and a 3 years of prison sentence.

He is a very influential person and I guess his influential power arise from his wealthy followers. I have respect for his views but I'm against banning books, websites etc. If something constitutes illegality the person or the persons who comitted it; should be tried.

Well since Ray Bradbury was born in 1920, he was 13 years old during the ceremonial book-burnings in Nazi Germany which later must have been a source of inspiration for this famous book. (Famous and as tasteless as George Orwell's 1984 should I say). Anyway, that was what "Civilized Europe" looked like once upon a time.

 U pathetic, brain-washed, embryonic creature. U r living inside ur little world with the fear of facing truths that will destroy ur little world built on official lies and propaganda. I have respect for his views just because of I believe freedom of speech to the contrary of ur pathetic behaviour that labels every GC or Greek paid journalist or traitor; when they talk about something hurts u.

STATE DEPT MULLS "BOOK BURNING"

The Department of State is under growing pressure from the Central Intelligence Agency to destroy its inventory of an official history of U.S. relations with Greece during the 1960s and to replace it with a new, sanitized version.

Some 1500 copies of "Foreign Relations of the United States (FRUS), 1964-1968, volume XVI" on US policy towards Greece, Cyprus, Turkey have been printed. But they have been withheld from circulation because of last minute concerns raised by the CIA.

The sticking point appears to be a handful of documents that allude to CIA intervention in the electoral process in Greece some 35 years ago. CIA officials claim that release of such documents could upset current relations with Greece or even provide a pretext for terrorism.

2 years ago, an AHI spokesman in his letter to then the president of US, was asking more revisions in favour of Greece and against Turkey.

Sooner or later all truths will be revealed. Lies and propaganda cannot live forever. :D

Long before I've read that article above, I've told u that US has done everything possible to gain sympaty of Greeks just because during the cold-war era and until recent times they needed Greece to fix their jobs on Balkans but I added one more thing that mission has been completed in Balkans. No more freebies for Greece anymore.
