The French woman, Jeanne Louise Calment is officially recognized as the oldest verified person who had ever lived!
She was born in 21-02-1875 and died in 04-08-1997 for a grand total of 122 years and 164 days!

“Calment smoked until she was 117, and only quit when she could no longer see well enough to light the cigarettes.”

WRONG !!
Jeanne Loise Calment used her ripe old age to benefit her family by concocting the cigarette smoking habit. She in fact never smoked , Gittanes paid her the sum of 1.45 million euros to say that she did so fools like GR who smokes like a chimney would continue doing so using he longevity as a reason for continuing their smelly dirty unhealthy drug habit .
