Hi, Im 16 years old , and in a few weeks time I will be moving to Nicosia. Im scared incase i wont find any friends who speak English!!! Apparantly almost everyone speaks english out there but i dont know how i'm suppose to get a job if i can't speak Greek! Is it worth me worrying?

I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I think you have stay in school here until you are 18, so you will have two years to learn Greek before you need to worry about getting a job.

I have researched some schools. In the UK i am in college and currently studying law,psychology and media studies. I have planned to meet with a Grammer school in Nicosia and restart my studies. I still need to get a part time job.

I only mean a little job as a retail assistant , my parents said there were alot of resturants looking for waitresses, i suppose i can't really do anything until im out there.

What scares me about Nicosia is that outrageous heat in the middle part of the day during Summer.
