Have spent many water-logged hols in Wales.

Nicosia is in the plains between the two mountain ranges. During the summer days it's a heat sump. In the late afternoons you'll get a really nice cooling breeze coming down from the Troodos.

Be prepared to do what most Nicosians do whenever they can and get up into the mountains or to the coast to escape the heat.

No Bill Cy Airways from Manchester for me I retain my loyalty through thick and thin ( and watery tavas for lunch on outbound flight- wonder if it will be rice or pasta as an accompaniment)

yes just dont expect much of a job at 16.... like a small job like working in the orfanides where they rather have english speakers then greek...

Never!!! I can't stand the rain!!! You dont need to buy make up here because as soon as you go out of the house your soaked wet through and its washed of your face!!!
