fighting against French, Italian, British and Greek (oops these were the ones building civilizations and never invading others' lands no?) occupiers at the same time.

'endless wars' encapsulates all the wars you mentioned ofcourse.

Even the 'Chanak Affair ' was a bluff and the British fell for it.

What an idiotic question is 'would Ataturk be ashamed of the TCs?' Who started this ? Oh, Oracle the resident moron.

It makes as much sense as asking whether Venizelos would be ashamed of Oracle ? Would he have been more ashamed of the GCs than Ataturk of the TCs ? Would Makarios/Ecevit/Grivas/Mickey Mouse be ashamed of Oracle ?
(a) who gives a flying XXXX ? and (b) even if they did how can such a question be answered ? Why don't you just ask how many angels can dance on the head of a pin ? By comparison to Oracackles question that is positively constructive ?

I am stuck with this quote of yours. (it is Friday eve.)

...and you are the answer to every posters question.

I am thinking long to figure it out.

Keep it in the context of the first line ... and what CopperLine is complaining about!

It will eventually come to you, in the middle of the night, and you will call out my name in relief .... 8)
