Your thread title is "EU questions Tr's commitments" but the article is a comment about a European Parliament debate. Do you not know the difference between the EU and the European Parliament ? They are not the same.

Are they related or connected in some way ?

Yes of course Militiades : but northern Cyprus and the Republic of Cyprus are also 'related or connected in some way' but it makes a world of difference in the various way/s they're related or connected !!!

You've had since 1974, how much time do you need?

If CopperLine and other pseudo-linguists, would care to re-visit this comment, they will find that in a nutshell .... EU has every right to question Turkey's commitment to the EU, with titular accuracy!

.... And the evidence was adequately presented in the rest of the article.

Seems to me, it's the same old acorn, where Turkey wants something, but is not prepared to have it by fair means, and is once again trying to grab what it can.

Turkey has nothing to offer the EU ... but DISRUPTION!

Bill in your dreams.

It may take 10 years, but it will happen. God help you then.
You will appreciate what we suffered.

Where were you when this alleged suffering was going on? In Lourijina in front of the tanks or in London in front of the telly?

Have to ask.

Can you think of more suffering than watching 3,700 episodes of Coronation Street and Crossroads?

Bill, you are a B'startd. You pop up like mushroom, feed us a whole Gasha load of Bullshit, get me in trouble with my friends and I am still talking to you. I don't believe it.

I feel the pain of my family, even though I was 2500 miles away in Little Nicosia looking after the ciras in 1974. Someone had to do it, and I drew the short straw.

You will find two of the tanks on the hilltop on the east side of Lurucina, the rest between Lurucina and Gossi.
