Some time past I opened a thread titled: BRITISH AIRWAYS RIP OFF MERCHNATS.
I always travel , mostly anyway , with my favourite airline Cyprus Airways . British Airways have always been the most ridiculously expensive air operator to Cyprus . I have sent numerous emails to them and have not minced my words in describing them
It is time now for Cyprus airways to receive a few emails.
Just booked my flight with British Airways departing Friday morning on the 20th March and returning on Wednesday march 25th afternoon flight.
The cost for two £299.80 return
Same flight details with Cyprus Airways also out of Heathrow into Larnaca , morning departure from UK and afternoon departure from Larnaca, the astonishing cost of £539.80 , an amazing £240 more , an 80% more than B.A.
Does Cyprus Airways I wonder watch their competitors prices or do they simply not care . I'm a regular flyer and I can never remember any flight that I have been on totally full , I could never understand why on many occasions CY flew half empty and yet their prices , although at that time cheaper than BA , always on the high side in comparison to other Cyprus flight operators whom I avoid in view of their unwelcome marketing ploys , ie charge for a glass of water , pay extra for your average luggage , pay extra to sit next to your partner or wife and generally the penny pinching practices that leads me to suspect such practices might very well be taking place in areas concerning safety measures etc,
Bravo BA , my £240.00 saving will be pleasantly enjoyed !!!
