Why do you want to live with animal poisoners?

Postby Trustme » Thu Mar 12, 2009 12:33 am

Cypriots are a nation who poison animals with Lanate. I have just had three of my cats poisoned in this way, my grandson had to watch his pet cat suffer then die. If I could find the perpetrator, I would purchase this Lanate, as you can easily, and stick it up his sick Cypriot axxe, see how they like it. This happens on a daily basis over the island, the Vet told me this. Well, I will not live amongst barbarians, my family and I are off back to civilization, and will never, ever, return to this place. Cyprus is a third world country, full of ignorance, so, why would any civilized person want to live here? when I return home, I will be making people aware of what the Cypriot really is like, a complete contrast to what the holiday maker see's, and I was one of them! I must have been bloody mad!!!

Try the biggest third world country in Europe, England, full of third worlders ready to take over. Btw why are the RSPCA so busy in England?

Which part of Cyprus ?
My daughter has had cats for over 10 years none have been poisoned , it does happen and no one can possibly make any excuses for such abysmal behaviour.
Im a Cypriot , a dog owner and an animal lover but would be interested to know from you what "where is back to civilization " , UK perhaps?
I will not defend animal cruelty but will challenge any generalizations drawn out mainly because an individual , one such as you , has had some financial hardships in Cyprus , money is usually the predominant deciding factor to return to "civilization" and not a poisoned cat.
My daughters cats as well as my brothers are healthy , well fed and cared for and quite happy amongst "barbarians ".
You are not from the UK are you ?

Best avoid Somerset too ...

The Daily Mail wrote:18 cats poisoned by 'animal-hating psychopath' in two-mile radius By Luke Salkeld

Last updated at 9:06 PM on 06th August 2008

Eighteen cats in one town have died after being poisoned with anti-freeze – triggering a warning to owners to keep their pets indoors.

There are fears they are being targeted by an animal-hating maniac.

Seven from neighbouring terraced houses in one street in Bridgwater, Somerset, have died in the last week alone. It follows a spate of 11 deaths four months ago, two miles away.

Jan Summers, 52, whose two-year-old cat Pixie was killed a week ago, said: 'I cradled Pixie in my arms as she was in agony and life slowly drained from her.
'I have lost my little princess. A cat is part of the family and we are all devastated, it's absolutely soul destroying to lose them.
'It's tragic what's happening. My next door neighbours on either side of me also have had their cats poisoned.
'It's been suggested that it is a sicko or psychopath who is doing it because anti-freeze is not the type of thing to have in your garden.
'It's too much of a coincidence that all the cats have been drinking from the same container.'

I’m sorry about your cats, but Cyprus doesn’t rank very high in the global animal abuse competition… in fact you’ll be surprised to learn that “civilized” countries like the US and UK are some of the world’s worst offenders!

I won’t bother you with details right now because you are in sorrow, but give me a shout if and when you’re ready.

Sorry mate dont want to be a spoiled sport but in all my 48 years in the UK I have never heard of this practice.
Animal cruelty exists in the UK , unfortunately there are irresponsible people who do not have any feelings for animals.
The difference between cruelty to animals in the UK is that the perpetrators are generally lower class people , where in Cyprus is prevalent in all classes since a Cypriot would dismiss criticism for animal cruelty by a shake of the hand and a dismissal such as " atere en gattos"
Animal welfare and care in Cyprus has improved tenfold over the last twenty or so years , thanks mainly to the Brits and the Charlies !!
The lady whose 3 cats have been poisoned has , by her comments , tarnished the entire nation.
I bet she is skint , Stg against Euro , pension not enough, life too expensive what the hell lets go back to ...civilization , I wonder which part of the UK she is referring to , Londonishtan , Bradfordishtan , or somewhere in the Midlanishtan areas perhaps , some civilization

Lanate is a substance which affects an animal’s nervous system. It causes fluid to develop on the lungs, meaning the animal cannot breathe and suffers from muscle spasms.

It is banned in many countries in Europe but not Cyprus - why? And it is used to deliberately poison animals.

My worry is that one day a child may pick up a poisoned piece of meat and then put their fingers in their mouth. The potential consequences are too horrible to think about.........

Well, there's a typical Cypriot response eh? you are notjust animal haters, you are Brit haters too arn't you? AND I aint English, AND I aint broke, far from it. Cypriots are a bunch of ignorant morons, look at you trying to take the heat off your countrymen by pointing the finger at ISOLATED cases elsewhere.Cruelty is the NORM in Cyprus, teach your old YA Ya's, they live in ignorance. Members of the EU? what a joke. Turkish Cypriots treat their animals with respect, treat other humans with respect, they deserve to be EU members, YOU don't.
Oracle, I challenge you, explain why the Cypriot poisons animals with Lanate??? pet animals that is, cats and dogs who belong to family's??? make them suffer such torture???
