Why do you want to live with animal poisoners?

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

I didn't watch the video, but I can guess from what Sotos is saying! Since you appear a bit thick, I'll try and explain; don't want you getting left behind, when called upon to think ...

It's rather hypocritical/ignorant to only see the cruelty before your very eyes and pretend nothing untoward happens behind closed doors and even in "institutionalised" regulated set-ups ... like battery farms, which are a specialty in the UK (because of the burgeoning pet population). A lot of those chickens end up, after a short, sad, painful existence, as pet food! Yet it's apparently acceptable because people don't have to see it!

No relevance to animal cruelty in Cyprus whatsoever , its like comparing hooking a fish with poisoning cats and dogs. Lets be honest about it , we have some way to go in Cyprus as far as pets and working animals welfare is concerned. We covered this subject numerous times in the past the fact that cruelty also exists in the UK is no excuse . We have to constantly strive to improve our animal welfare .

One cruelty here and there does not excuse another one at some other place. The way these chickens are slaughtered is quite disturbing alright. However, everybody has full right to be foremost concerned with animal cruelty in their immediate surroundings and this is no hypocrisy. If you look at things in that perspective, then we should also be concerned about the way the seals, particularly the cubs, are still being clubbed to death in the Artic areas. so what is your verdict ? That she should not mourn over the poisoning of her cats anymore and make no fuss about it or rally for the prohibition of this poison and encourage the public to be more sensitive towards animals?

Completely agree! But it has to be an all out eradication of cruelty and it's not good enough any longer to accept this mass slaughter of other creatures, just to feed creatures that would not exist, but for the sake of acting as replacement children or mere companions, for wealthy Westerners.

TrustMe

Cyprus doesn't need you

animal cruelty is not exclusive to cyprus - you are just bitter for whatever reason and looking to take it out on cyprus and the cypriots

we don't need your type here, and you don't belong here

p.s i never understood the animal lovers who cry about cruelty to animals ands then go and spay their cats. your chopping their balls off, FFS ! can you think of anything worse ????

this is ignorant! "chopping their balls off" keeps them healthier, less aggressive, they live longer. keeps he stray population down, so the ones who live, can have a better quality of life. go do some research!
