Why do you want to live with animal poisoners?

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

Deniz, don't do it!

Don't get the BIG eggs! Honestly the hens end up with a prolapsed Cloaca laying unnaturally bigger and bigger eggs.

Just have more smaller ones if you must.

Make sure they are free range or Woodland ... never mind the Organic bit, that is purely for your benefit, not the Hens! It just needs space and freedom to lay small (easy to pass) eggs!

So keep eating those eggs ... Lord knows you need them for the Omega 3's and to bulk up those skinny legs

I am very touched for your concern Oracle. My skinny legs will survive. Poor chichen.

Do women who have large babies get 'prolapsed uteri'?

One of my friends had the equivalent, after her fourth child ... No amount of pelvic floor exercise would help ... she now drinks a bottle of wine per night, whilst her hubby does lots of DIY

Stop at one, I say!

It gets no one anywhere, to constantly have their efforts diminished, such as you manage to do to Cyprus ALL the time!

Cyprus has a good foundation for a healthy respect of animals, so blooming well egg them on positively!

BTW ... I found out today that the Brits' predilection for large eggs, causes the poor hens even more unnecessary, extra pain :(

You are a lost cause , yap yap yap , a bit like a hen really with an enlarged orifice to ease the passage of those large eggs the Brits love so much !!!
I criticize ignorant cruelty to animals in Cyprus which exists and is routinely excused by morons who think so what in the UK they have have cruelty to !! Its like saying that being obese in Cyprus is perfectly OK because the Americans have far bigger asses than the Cypriots ! !!
I think I will have a glass of wine to calm the nerves down

What you are doing is excusing the Brits!

And since there are more of them, and the potential for cruelty is greater ... then your disservice to the animal world is greater.

If you want to do right by the animals (instead of your pro-Brit credentials) ... condemn the Brits first!

Let's see if you are man enough ....

You are being exceedingly illogical. Should , should you or anyone for that matter condemn the BRITS because animal cruelty exists in the UK ?
The Brits are among the most kind and caring towards animals the fact that there exists amongst us cruelty which is carried out by the thoughtless few should we condemn as you put it the Brits ?
Well start by condemning the Germans for the horrid events yesterday when a deranged young man killed so many.
O , Cruelty in Cyprus does exist , the worst thing is that it is now frowned upon by the public at large , but still tolerated , the good thing is that we have many Brits living in Cyprus that have and still do contribute a great deal to animal care and welfare .
ps. I know the Brits a great deal more than you ever will , I also know the T/Cs much more than you ever will and you are wrong on both issues !!!
Do I know the G/Cs , I bloody well do I'm one of them who grew up with a catapult in his pocket and a note book full of the whereabouts of birds nests , I knew no better , cruelty to animals was a part of life when I was growing up in Cyprus . The continued improvement of animal welfare is now part of life thanks to the awareness introduced by the Brits and the Charlies.

My dear M, please, please consider using the 'charlie' word a little less. It makes me feel unhappy and second class.

Trustme wrote:Cypriots are a nation who poison animals with Lanate. I have just had three of my cats poisoned in this way, my grandson had to watch his pet cat suffer then die. If I could find the perpetrator, I would purchase this Lanate, as you can easily, and stick it up his sick Cypriot axxe, see how they like it. This happens on a daily basis over the island, the Vet told me this. Well, I will not live amongst barbarians, my family and I are off back to civilization, and will never, ever, return to this place. Cyprus is a third world country, full of ignorance, so, why would any civilized person want to live here? when I return home, I will be making people aware of what the Cypriot really is like, a complete contrast to what the holiday maker see's, and I was one of them! I must have been bloody mad!!!

Hey Witch, I do believe you are stalking me Very Happy I have never had a stalker before! but you must start paying attention Witchy, I said I own a house 'Near Blairgowrie'?? but not 'Near Dundee'?? pay attention! Rolling Eyes
Anyway, to the question of how I know a Cypriot poisoned our cats? you have me thinking now, perhaps it wasn't a Cypriot, a well, we have till, oops! I nearly gave you some more juicy info lol lol.

Err so why the initial post you prat? does the term engage before posting ring a bell?

You won't condemn the Brits, but you would condemn the Cypriots, for no more of a crime!

You hypocrite! The "why" is purely because of your business interests, making you a Charlatan!

So what if you had a catapult ... so did my hubby ... in Scotland in the 70's, and a penknife, and fishing rods and he collected eggs from nests etc.!

You are a complete two faced jerk who is only looking after his British business interests and nothing more.

No problem, you can do that ... but just don't condemn Cyprus for things that it does not deserve!!

Bill , a Charlie is the salt of the Cypriot earth mate , the majority of Cypriots are connected to us Charlies , I'm proud to be a Charlie , I take it in my stride and have never felt second class!!
When in Rome do us the Romans do , but dont poison bloody cats or wear all your jewelry when out shopping , for women that is , for men dont talk gibberish , half Egle and half , well almost half Grieco and never refer to the locals as "The Cypriots ""as if you were from Mars !!
ps . my brother law Charly , a well known personality in Limassol , has the supermarket at the Kanica block next to the Welsh Inn , Charly is known by all as a real character if anyone on this forum knows Charly give him my regards !!

I blend in well with the Cypriots cause I'm one of them !!
LONG LIVE THE CHARLIES !!!!
