I do not need to wiggle out of anything, moron, either. If you went back enough you would know that my political affiliations are no secret and that I have stated my views on AKEL on numerous occasions. My first choise in the second round was Kasoulides because I trust Anastasiades more than Christofias, but like many in my party, decided to vote Christofias because had Kasoulides won, AKEL would have regressed to negative party politics, whereas, with Christofias at the helm, I was more confident that DISI would behave sensibly and grand him almost unconditional support to deal with the Cyprus issue. I believe I have been proved correct here. If your issue is with the extremists on the political spectrum, I would suggest you look for them in national socialist EDEK, DIKO and EVROKO.
DT, Makarios was not voted in by AKEL when he opted for the non alligned. AKEL stood against him in 1960. Makarios was a megalomaniac, basically, who thought he could mess about with the west, in order to gain leverage (and personal prestige probably) by blackmailing the powers that controlled the Eastern Mediterranean.
About the Annan Plan. Just wait for a bit longer when we will be begging to be given another chance ...
Ho ho ha ha. Excellent. Dance Bana, dance. So Haji Mike is not just a rasta man that you imitate, nay, steel his ambient quotes and reproduce them here—why? so as to sound intelligent amongst your TC friends? I can not tell you how I enjoy the position you are in at this moment. Let us analyze what you have just written above.
Now you say your first choice in the second round was Kasoulides BUT, but, but like so many in your party, voted Christofias because AKEL would have regressed to negative party politics if they had not won. Ok, I think I understand your thinking. One more thing, are you done shoveling manure or is there more? You are a confused complicated individual Bana whos full of bullshit and as useless as a tit on a bull.
Now that you just admitted that you voted for Christofias, why are you questioning his policies on Havana? Clearly, you are what is backward on this island. If anyone is a stereotypical village idiot in this forum…ITS YOU! Can we now expect you to criticize Christofias because peace talks have stalled? Its ok in your mind because you only voted for him as “AKEL would have regressed to negative party politics” if they didn’t win the elections. Having your cake and eating it too I see.
You are looking for a leader who has great relations with the TCs and who will tell the citizens of the RoC that a confederation is what we should really be seeking. At the same time, you are looking for a leader who will obey London and Washingtons’ every request. Where oh where can we find such a leader to please Bana?
Now, I truly believe that Cyprus should have great relations with the States my hippie friend. Remember, i consider my self a Greek American who lives in Cyprus. I am the first to state we should have great relations with Washington and London. I have a great affinity for the States but a real leader would tell his friends that our relations are of utmost importance, but sir, I can not and will not in good conscience agree to the surrender of half my country….i hope you understand.
