We will not rely on EU or UN. Both parties are guttless.

no im sure turkey can repeat its 1974 "PEACE" performance.its only 40 miles away.however there will be mecanisms in place for a intervention and it might not be turkey per say.

both eu are gutless?but t/c advocate to join EU and Want a UN sponcered plan.

MAKE UP YOUR MINDS ALREADY.

Thats the only track available on this train journey I am affraid at the moment.
However if Eroglu gets into power and this final peace process fails, I am sure we will be presented with some real alternatives.

You can exercise those 3rd world options now, and start trading seashells, candles and pottery right away.

what alternatives, permanent partition?

This wll result in the following:
1)80/20 split(to get recognition)
2)crossings closed
3)"trnc" becomes Hatay south
4)T/C cease to exist
5)no e/u entry for at least 15-20 years if ever

1- why 80/20 split? In the begining of the British rule TCs were constituting 1/3 of the Cyprus population. So, at least 30% of land belongs to TCs. How did TC land loose in 50-60 years time?

2- Why will u close crossings?

3- TRNC becomes whatever it's people wishes. Why do u care so much.

4- I bet all diaspora TCs would return in such a case. There r abt 750.000 TCs living abroad.

5- We don't care much abt EU accession.

Insan always now one thing for you to get recognized partition the ROC will have to agree,so keep it up and it will be 90/10 by the end of the night.

Even in the case of Kosovo, the protractorate of the balkans even if the US,GB AND THE WHOLRE UNIVERSE recognize them it dosent meen anything.Serbia at the end needs to give the OKAY.And serbia if they ever do agree to kosovo being independent the northern part will remain serbian and probobly more.
